I worked in Obstetrics for years, if we did not have a group B strep test test done after 38 weeks, EVERY mother is given IV antibiotics as a preventative!!!

I hate how pregnant women aren’t routinely screened for GBS purely due to women having this naturally but it causing no issues. My heart breaks for the family and that beautiful baby boy 😭
