(1) I was taught to always cut baseboard upside down. Cut your 45, with the painted side facing you.

Stand it up, upside down, just work all your cuts opposite ends. That’s how you get production. Then 45 your first cut, 22’ your back cut, cope the detail

All you have to do is cut it on a 45 One Direction turn it upside down and then back cut it and then cope it that’s the easiest way

It’s called a scribe and any carpenter worth his salt will do this regardless of the style of finish as no corner is true. Good work like seeing these vids where it’s done correctly ✊
