Hi everyone in the comments: my mother wanted a boy and NOT a girl. She reacted this same way, I feel just fine about it, she still loves me, gender disappointment is ok, she won’t be loved any less.

I have 3 girls, let me tell gender disappointment is a real thing but I wouldn’t trade my crazy and soon to be extremely expensive in about 12 years life for anything. But I still wish I got my boy.

I completely understand gender disappointment. It doesn’t mean you’re gonna love your child any less. I’m pregnant but I’m too early to know the gender rn and I hope I have a girl but I have a gut feeling it’s a boy. I will be perfectly okay if it’s a boy as long as my baby is safe and healthy idc what the gender is
