@humanebroward: Our most shutdown dog 💔😔 Rio Mar is a beautiful 1-year-old lab mix with a heart of gold. She was transferred here from another shelter, so her past is a mystery to us, but clearly she has been through a lot in her short life 🥺 When Rio first arrived, she was completely shutdown and wouldn’t stop trembling in the corner of her kennel 💔 She used to freeze up at the slightest touch, but now, in her foster home, she is learning to trust again 🙏 Rio is still learning to navigate the world with courage, but with a patient and understanding adopter, we know she will blossom into a loving and loyal companion ❤️ She’s hoping that a loving family is reading this right now and will help give her the new life she is dreaming of 🙏 If you cannot adopt, please share Rio’s post!
