I got off it after getting married to have kids. I took it between both my pregnancies. Recently stopped again but my acne came back strong so I’ll be going back on it for the time being.

You could speak with an Endocrinologist. Go through your concerns with staying on and stopping and see if there is a path forward either changing drugs or stopping entirely and seeing what happens.

Ask your doctor! They have many options between combined, progestin only, and non hormonal. Many of the side effects for clotting and cancer are related to estrogen component
