I just came back from an epic, memorable week in Japan. Hosted by the Japanese government, the Tokyo Metropolitan Government, and @Japanbyfood, I, along with my four new foodie friends, @jeremyjacobowitz, @her.atlas, @food_feels, and @kanpai.carl, were taken to Japan’s foodie heaven while learning all about Sake, the rice wine from heaven. In Nagano, we learned about the arduous process of brewing sake while staying at the brewery @kurabitostay, getting certified as a sake brewer Kurabito (蔵人), and being blessed by a Shinto priest. In Tokyo, we experienced some incredible restaurants with delicious Sake pairing.
