@georginaelizat: POV: it’s Sunday morning and you’re craving french toast This french toast is coated in cinnamon sugar and topped with vanilla whipped cream and raspberry compote… this combo was AMAZING Ingredients 2 slices white bread / challah / brioche 1 tsp cinnamon 1 egg or 2 tbsp Aquafaba 1/2 tsp vanilla extract 1 tbsp sugar 1/4 cup / 60ml double / whipping cream 1/4 cup / 60ml milk Cinnamon sugar coating: 1/3 cup / 63g white sugar 1 tsp cinnamon Instructions 1. Combine your milk, cream, vanilla, cinnamon and egg/ Aquafaba in a bowl with a whisk. 2. Drop your bread into the mixture and leave for around 30 seconds on each side. 3. Heat some butter in a frying pan on a medium heat. Add your soaked bread and leave until the bread is golden on the underside, then flip until the other side is also golden. 4. In a wide bowl, add your cinnamon and sugar and combine. As soon as you fry your bread, drop them in the cinnamon sugar and flip until coated. You will have some cinnamon sugar left over. 5.
