@zsiti: ☪️Ramadan Day 15 Nabidh is an alkalizing tonic, that has the tendency to detoxify, remove acidity from the stomach and digestive system and it also helps to remove other metabolic wastes from the body. It improves digestion as it’s high in soluble fibre and it strengthens the memory. Dates contain Fibre, Potassium, Copper, Manganese, Magnesium and Vitamin B6. All which are needed vitamins and minerals during Ramadan when our body might be lacking some vitamins and minerals. Dates has so many other medical and health benefits which you can definitely find out online. So it always makes sense to consume dates! Recipe: 1. Pit the dates and place in a cleaned large glass or pitcher. 2. Add the water and cover. Allow to soak for a minimum of 6 hours, up to 12 hours. 3. Strain out the dates. You can consume the dates or use in other recipes like smoothies. Chill before serving. Tip: Nabidh should be consumed within 12 hours of soaking time, but if it is kept air tight inside the refrigerator, it will not spoil for 2-3 days. I usually make a portion each time because any longer than the stated number of hours, it will start to ferment which is the starting process of becoming alcohol and then it is forbidden to drink.
