@emileesegura: today’s Milestone Monday is for the 12-14 month olds! It is SO important to know your child’s language milestones so they don’t get delayed with communication. Don’t let anybody tell you to wait and see. Go get an evaluation from early intervention so you know for sure. Here’s some ideas on how you can help your 12-14 month olds with their language development: - during bath time ask them questions about their common body parts like their eyes, nose, mouth, and ears. “Where’s your nose?” - give them simple directions like “go get your shoes” or “give me the ball” or “give me a kiss!” - encourage them to say bye bye! - if you know they’ve said the word before, be sure to encourage them to use the word again! #deaf #deafcommunity #deafawareness #deafculture #deafworld #deafbaby #hardofhearing #asl #americansignlanguage #cochlearimplant #nucleus7 #n7 #audiology #earlyintervention
