Ring doorbells are attached to a persons account not a house. Don’t even know if you could transfer ownership. Obviously they don’t go with the house

I took my ring devices when the seller made an offer we put it as excluded. I will be taking my ring devices. I just put a light back up.

My contract had an entire smart devices clause stating the sell must release control of smart devices to the buyer unless exclusions were made! Definitely something to look for

In ga we don’t follow if it’s attached or not. We have a check sheet and if it’s checked it stays and if not then it doesn’t. Helps clear up a lot of confusion!

when I was looking at homes, I never once assumed the Ring stuff would stay. I feel it's a personal electronic, like TVs. I would assume people wanted to take personal electronics with them

Mine are Vivint, I have the contract with Vivint. Those WILL be excluded. That stuff is EXPENSIVE.

The seller can just refuse to release the devices from their account when the buyer tries to activate them and they become useless.

I would ask the buyers if they want them. My sellers left them and I took all of them down and installed my own. Tossed what he left
