never knew I had a problem with the colour yellow until I saw it in saddlepad form still don’t know the real reason but it just doesn’t make sense why it looks so horrid 😭

i use a standing martingale because my horse rears a lot and my normal martingale does absolutely nothing plus’s she shakes her head so much and it most of the time hits me and gives me a nosebleed

I’m old school, at most we was allowed a snaffle and cavesson noseband and that was it, I wasn’t allowed a double bridle for my show ponies until I learnt to teach my pony to carry itself through

A lot of times we use the standing martingales for “aesthetic” purposes in the hunter ring, esp in America. (We just make them so loose they don’t actually do anything😂)

PLEASE😭When i first got my pony he had every piece of gadget you could put on him, so i stripped him down literally a bridle and saddle, he’s been fine since. 8 years strong 🤣

This is another thing about walk up arena, normally you should walk on an inner track, but with showjumping it makes so much more sense to walk on an outer track so you don’t cut up someone jumping
