all he had to do was remove the hose that's clamped (which is already leaking) and use a line wrench 🔧..I think some even flex 🤔

I've never understood mechanics ripping on engineers. nothing can be completely perfect, and usually if something's been downgraded to a cheap material it's not engineering who makes the call.
