Red top tubes have to sit for 30 minutes before spinning, a tiger top is a 10ml red/black top. The other is called a gold top, with a serum separator can't be used with therapeutic drugs.

blue top also for platelet correction, it's not the tube size but the vacuum in the tube plus the size of the needle that causes veins to collapse
