@themiddeesociety: Bleeding in pregnancy 🩸🩸 regardless of the amount or how many weeks you are bleeding at any point of your pregnancy is ABNORMAL and you need to come and get it checked within the hospital. Bleeding in pregnancy can occur for many different reasons varying from mild to severe. Some of these examples include implantation bleeding, haematoma, post coital bleed, a low lying placenta or abruption. If you visit the hospital you can expect us to monitor your baby’s heart rate, perform a speculum examination, conduct an ultrasound and potentially take some bloods and keep you within the hospital for closer monitoring. If everything is okay you will then be sent back home. I know it can be very frightening if you are experiencing bleeding but please don’t panic. Make your way to the hospital and we will take care of you and your baby ♥️♥️ #midwife #pregnancy #birth
