i think lots of pet owners took the wrong idea away from the intended purpose of “there are no bad dogs, only bad owners”, bc instead of taking responsibility for pets bad behaviour, they just deny it

Once when I was walking my pit and a lady across from us had a weirdly aggressive shepherd who tried to attack my dog and even bit her hand to make her let go of the leash, she then blamed my dog -__-

We've noticed at the shelter a lot more of our dogs coming in are dogs with pretty bad behavioral problems, sometimes extreme. But people's expectations for adopting are higher than ever.
