We only use Petey’s crate when we travel, but at home, he always puts himself in there when he wants space. It’s his safe place and no one bothers him. People complain too much about everything.

My boy loves his crate .. goes right to sleep .. doesn’t bark .. and the minute he comes out he’s ready to play .. everyone should crate train
