@afreespiritedwoman: As someone who is highly sensitive and extremely empathic these traits can quickly turn into wounded feminine energy. That looks like hyper vigilance, people pleasing and abandonment of self. Especially when dealing with people who have low emotional intelligence. So to protect MYSELF…I created a boundary and for me that boundary is I NO LONGER respond to subtext. It spares me the overthinking, anxiety and worry that comes along with trying to guess/interpret/manage/process peoples emotions FOR THEM! If it’s not explicitly said then I don’t give energy to it. I see it AND I continue on as if everything is ok. I don’t show up different, I don’t shift to meet that persons lower vibration…I don’t go into problem solver mode…WHY? Because that person hasn’t SAID there is a problem. I don’t argue, I don’t poke and probe…I only respond to direct, open and honest communication.
