Honestly, as an nyc native whoโs seen it from highs and lows, the subways gotten crazier. Iโd recommend just taking Ubers and yellow taxis. Try to refrain using the subway, itโs loud smelly & crowded

From La went to New York in February I loved it. Very walkable I had two solo days was extra careful those days but it wasn't anything you can't handle if you have a plan to stay safe ๐

i went to nyc last summer (iโm from south america), itโs really pretty, i stayed in the most touristic areas for safety and saw a lot of homeless people (not like in LA) though you do have to be +
