@journeyofanhonestmum: Screen-Free Morning with 3 Toddlers 👇🏻 Firstly, we’ve just moved house (& states in Australia) which means we have practically no furniture yet… got the keys for our rental 5 days ago. This morning was rough. The kids just wind one another up & it can feel so overwhelming so quickly. When I say in previous posts you just get used to the crying, this is what I mean. It’s still overwhelming, but it’s “normal” so you don’t panic or cater to it as much as you would your first or second baby. My kids know they can come to me whenever they need a cuddle, which you can see they did several times. But life is busy!! I had absolutely no opportunity this morning to make breakfast or even my hot drink which I would usually have first thing in the morning. I had no chance to sit down & play with them properly because I spent every second feeding, cleaning, dressing, nappy changing, feeding again, cleaning again, comforting A LOT & attempting to make my own hot drink to have just 5 minutes alone to enjoy in peace (clearly didn’t happen). I spent the entire morning surviving. So did they.
