@few_81: Ya gotta keep it fun:) Yesterday was a good cleanup day before I take a break from the shop for some travels and family. A month or so of wood chips had built up around the chopping block and the same under the lathe. Pretty wild to think that each of these chips is the result of some action- a knife stroke, an axe cut, or rotation on the lathe. Working by hand is a lot of work, but it's good work. It feels good to be set up well for when I get back to work in the shop with a clean space and bowl blanks ready to turn. I've found the spaces in my life and systems I use to organize my spaces and time really have a large impact on how well I work and flow. Anyone else do this kind of work to set themselves up for success later? - - - #woodworker #woodshoplife #setyourselfupforsuccess #holidaycleanup #shopspace #keepitfun #polelathe #greenwoodworking #handtoollife #handtoolwoodworking #cleanupday #itsthelittlethings
