@few_81: Birch bark and snow, seems like a timeless combination from my roots and really seems to ground me these days. Woke up to find a wonderful coat of fresh snow, which made for a perfect pre-dawn wander with tons of fresh tracks to follow and those led to a much needed sit. I was reminded of how important it is for me to fit in those quiet moments within the busy flutter of this season as a maker. Anyhow my morning adventures have set me up well for a day of making birch bark ornament and carving cooking spoons so life is good.
