@theemoodyfoody: One of Anthony Bourdain's favorite sandwiches- The Mortadella Sandwich from São Paulo, Brazil. He describes this in his cookbook Appetites as "a beloved heap of oozing awesomenes, a reflection (or mutation) of Brazil's proud and powerful Italian dimension. They sure as hell don't have this in Italy. But maybe they should." Goddamn was he right. No notes. In his recipe he calls for even more mortadella and provolone to be slapped into a Kaiser roll- I didn't have enough meat or cheese and my bodega was out of kaisers. This was still unbelievable. I highly recommend you try this one.
