I had single PAC springs on my 454 with a Comp XE cam at .515/.520 lift and they worked but danced all over shifting at 5600 rpm, double is better.

Singles for now will be fine, the engine shouldn’t turn enough rpms to need double springs right now.

That is not a very big cam. They definitely make a strong enough single spring.
