A person may pray for sixty years, yet their prayer is not accepted. Do you know why? In prayer, it is necessary to move the lips to constitute “reading”; silent recitation in the heart without lip movement is insufficient for the obligatory prayers. 2. Incorrect sitting positions. One should follow the Sunnah of the Prophet regarding how to sit between the two prostrations (Sujood) and during the Tashahhud. 3. Excessive movement during prayer. It is obligatory for those praying to remain still and calm. One should avoid frequent, unnecessary movements that are not part of the prayer. 4. Failing to prostrate on the seven limbs. The Prophet Bes commanded us to prostrate on seven bones: the forehead (including the nose), the two hands, the two knees, and the toes of both feet. 5. Whispering or loud recitation. Reciting in a way that disturbs other Muslims (whispering loudly or raised voices) can cause disturbance and distraction to those around you. 6. Failing to wash the heels during Wudu. The Prophet said: “Woe to the heels from the Fire,” reminding us to ensure water reaches the back of the feet entirely. 7. Praying without covering the feet (for women).
