In my state if a creek runs through ur land it’s illegal for u to fish it unless u are floating . U can’t have ur feet on the ground

If classified as navigable water you can walk on land under the water, if labeled unnavigable water you cannot step foot out of your boat.

1st thing, there okay with you floating in but not walking. So it seems stupid to care in the first place! 2nd, I know in Indiana if you own land adjacent to the water and its considered non navigable

When in rivers and waterways private property is from the natural watermark of the bank. . So you have a right away at least 5-10 feet up a bank .
