pretty sure the ISPs do this kinda thing already. if you notice your firestick working fine all week then when there's a big game on its buffering constantly, it's the ISPs putting out a block

I'd rather just pay sky I've had at least 5 dodgy boxes over the years and not one has been reliable. bad picture constantly freezing or buffering no matter how good the WiFi was don't get it tbh

never used an IPTV but can still access anything for free. Just need a decent VPN and any streaming box other than firesticks
