How do you get enough fiber in a day? By eating a diverse diet that includes a variety of fruits, veg, lentils, beans, nuts, seeds etc. As of writing this caption I have had 21g of fiber so far. And these were the sources . Dal - 3.6g Chia seeds - 3.4g Guava - 3g Sauteed Veg.- 2.8g Rolled Oats - 2.1g Tomato - 1.1g Almonds - 1.1g Slice of Bread - 1g Kidney bean Hummus - 1g Peanuts - 0.8g . As you can see little bits add up. To get more fiber you can eat produce with peel or choose lentils with skin on or whole grains instead of refined. . When I started balancing my meals I was able to get all macros in order, but fiber would hover around 15-18gm, despite the fact that I would eat a lot of salads and vegetables. Adding lentils and beans is how I primarily ensure I meet my day’s target. . What helps you hit your fiber goals? .
