We were allowed to eat a ton of candy and then go run around outside and be wild it was the only day this was acceptable so the adults could enjoy pie and coffee without us bothering them.

my best Easter was at ageish 9 when my mom created a "basket" out of a fishing tackle box with lures and goodies to go fishing with my grandfather. I'm 48 now and remember it every year.

my kids got their baskets last night bc they're older and have to work Sunday, we hide them and they have to find them. my 21 year old and her boyfriend got mini nerf guns and candy. so fun!
