in brazil its Still kinda common to ask for favors, especially when is about borrowing clothes for formal events,some people offer their dress/suit before you even ask

this is so true BUT some people live 40 minutes from the airport and gas is expensive these days, i think giving a few $$ for gas money if necessary is nice too :)
