For garage size if you own a truck should be 28 deep at least so you can walk around the truck when it’s inside. 10’x8’ door with 2’ either side so 14’x28’ for a single car.

My dad has done it on last 2 houses Each garage is 40' long Each garage is 1 11/2 garages wide so the 2 are the width of 3 so you don't bang walls
