I wish I could get my boxer to this point. She was a rescue and has scars on her pads from when she was abused as a puppy. She came to me as a rescue at 2 years old, and is now 14.

We clipped the dogs nails at young age so when they got bigger it didn’t faze them, they let us do it

This is how I did it too! A treat before, during and after each nail. Now she will lay calmly / sometimes sleep while i do them. Took 6 months to get to this point

I've never clipped my dogs nails. I let the vet or the groomer do it. My medical condition won't allow it.
