I use Lightroom on my MacBook and I tried Lightroom classic but it was more confusing and hard to work with for some reason. I didn’t see any differences. I also pay the subscription for both

It’s Lightroom or Lightroom classic. Regular Lightroom is way nicer in my opinion.
