The coat trick is a great one! They place their coat on the floor, stand at the hood and place their hands/arms into the arm holes and flip it on! Works so so well for little ones 🙏🏻

As an infant teacher, putting on and taking off their own coat - as well as being able to put it away! Sitting in a chair, practice eating lunch from a lunch box and see what they can open themselves!

Going to the bathroom themselves (if they have to be trained, ours do), like pulling up pants & trousers, putting on her own shoes & coat. Opening & closing bags & lunch boxes

I work in a Montessori and putting on socks is a big one. Kids love to take off their socks and hide them and you'd be shocked how long parents leave it to teach their kids to put on their own socks
