The coat trick is a great one! They place their coat on the floor, stand at the hood and place their hands/arms into the arm holes and flip it on! Works so so well for little ones 🙏🏻

As an infant teacher, putting on and taking off their own coat - as well as being able to put it away! Sitting in a chair, practice eating lunch from a lunch box and see what they can open themselves!

I work in a Montessori and putting on socks is a big one. Kids love to take off their socks and hide them and you'd be shocked how long parents leave it to teach their kids to put on their own socks

How to do the wee sleeve magic trick when putting on her coat so the sleeves don’t get bunched up! And the nappies with tabs are far easier for teachers to change than pull ups
