Do Egypt using Viking River Cruise- they will insulate you from the negative aspects.I wouldn’t go now bc of unrest, but in a few yrs look at Viking!!

Egypt was the trip of a lifetime, literally, I was 65 when I went. We had a guide and the hawkers could be overwhelming, but didn’t ruin my experience. I recommend it.
