Crispy Chicken Alfredo Burritos 🌯🍗 These crispy chicken Alfredo burritos are the ultimate comfort food! Juicy seasoned chicken, creamy homemade Alfredo sauce, melted mozzarella and a crunchy cornflake coating, all wrapped in a golden, crispy tortilla. #chickenalfredo #chickenburrito #EasyRecipes #chickenwrap #DinnerIdeas Ingredients: For the chicken * 600g chicken breasts * 1 tsp black pepper * 1 tbsp garlic powder * 1 tsp onion powder * 1 tbsp smoked paprika * Salt to taste * 2 tbsp olive oil, for marinating * Oil, for cooking For the creamy Alfredo sauce * 2 tbsp butter * 1 tbsp garlic, minced * 1 cup double cream/heavy cream * 1/2 cup cream cheese * 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated * Salt to taste * 1 tsp chicken bouillon * 1 tsp black pepper * 1 tsp garlic powder * 1 tsp oregano * 1 tsp chilli flakes To assemble * 6 large flour tortillas * 1 cup mozzarella cheese For the crispy coating * 2 large eggs, beaten * 2 cups cornflakes, crushed * Oil, for frying Method 1. Marinate the chicken: Season the chicken breasts with black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, salt and smoked paprika. Add the olive oil and coat well. Marinate for 30 minutes–1 hour. 2. Cook the chicken: Heat a little oil in a pan over medium heat. Cook the chicken on both sides until golden and cooked through. Remove, rest for a few minutes, then chop into bite-sized pieces. 3. Make the Alfredo sauce: In the same pan, melt the butter and sauté the garlic for about 30 seconds. Add the cream, cream cheese, chicken bouillon, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, oregano and chilli flakes. Stir until smooth. 4. Add the Parmesan: Reduce the heat and stir in the Parmesan until melted and creamy. Simmer for 2–3 minutes until the sauce thickens. Let it cool slightly. 5. Assemble the burritos: Place a tortilla flat and add Alfredo sauce, mozzarella, chicken, more Alfredo sauce and mozzarella. Fold in the sides and roll tightly. 6. Coat: Dip each burrito into the beaten egg, then coat generously with crushed cornflakes, pressing gently so they stick. 7. Fry until crispy: Heat oil over medium heat. Place the burritos seam-side down first and fry on all sides until deeply golden, crispy and the cheese is melted. 8. Serve: Drain on a wire rack or paper towel and let them rest for 2–3 minutes before cutting.
