Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookies 🍪 Ingredients: * 112g softened butter * 50g white sugar * 50g brown sugar * 1 egg * 1 tsp vanilla extract * 175g all-purpose flour * 1/2 tsp baking soda * 1/2 tsp baking powder * 1/4 tsp salt (skip if using salted butter) * 150g dark or semi-sweet chocolate chips Instructions: 
In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, white sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy. 
Mix in the egg and vanilla extract until fully combined. 
Mix together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt (if using unsalted butter). Mix until just combined. Do not overmix. 
Stir in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed. 
Chill the dough for at least 30 minutes for thicker, chewier cookies. 
Preheat your oven to 175°C (350°F). Scoop the dough (around 2 tablespoons per cookie) onto a baking tray lined with parchment paper, leaving space between each.
