@dan.patrick: One of the most important things for getting in shape is being clear on your fitness goal and knowing how much effort is required to get there. For example, I know that my main goal is to build a strong physique. I’m not focused on strength or performance. Through trial and error, I've discovered that a four-day lifting routine yields the best results for me without taking too much time. Within those 4 days of lifting, I’ve learned the minimum number of exercises that I should do in order to progress. Within each exercise I’ve learned the number of sets and the level of intensity that I need to do in order to hit a certain stimulus.l which saves me a ton of time while still being able to do everything else that I want in life. Now if you have all the time in the world, this isn’t as important. like back in college I would train 6-7 days per week and trained completely different But as your life changes, you will need to learn how to adapt your training to match your lifestyle.
