In my opinion, we are pushing the limits with smaller engines to try to make v6 or V8 power. Fast don't last.

I have a 2014 fusion with a 2L. 315,000 miles. all original plugs, belt, everything. doesn't leak or burn anything. No codes!! Best car I have ever owned.

ford 2.0 is a good engine. i believe the issue is people crank up and drive off immediately in cold climates, im in the southern states and 2.0 run forever, my aunt has 389,000 miles on her 2.0 focus

I worked for jaguar land rover for about 15 years. they happen quite frequently. after replacement with a factory part I never saw one come back, but that doesn't mean it won't.

I've seen that once on the exhaust cam of 2.0 Ford at little over 100k. The cam wasn't moving at all and would start because it wasn't driving the hpfp.

I had a Discovery Sport 2.0 turbo, the bolt holding the phaser to the intake cam yielded like an hourglass. Engine was salvageable tho ✌️
