why is it just nissan cvt transmission that are bad? when other car brand puts the same cvt in thier cars.

Bought an 05 Pathfinder new - best snow/mountain pass rig I’ve owned. Spent a small fortune in ‘09 fixing the coolant/transmission issue but it’s been good since then.
