@makancutiee: If you, like me, enjoy delicious, simple, and affordable food, I want to share where my girlies and I ate for buka last night: Mak’s Place! This gem of a place is a quaint coffeeshop offering halal Chinese cuisine. It was a first-time experience for all my west side friends, and they loved it. From butter chicken to seafood tomyam, chap chye to minced beef omelette, we devoured everything. We washed it down with a pitcher of Bandung and ice water. We were seated at 6:45 pm, ordered at 6:50 pm, and our food was ready by 7:10 pm—talk about efficiency! Everything was served before the azan, except for the drinks, which came much later.
