I treat tiktok as a hobby because this way i can give my authentic self. Being paid this much for something that i also would have done for my usual 50cent a day feels wrong in some way. But i cant deny that i invest miltiple hours daily and dor a few weeks all of my weekends to filming and editing. the money will be used wisely and not for dumb things i promise! As a kid i moved so many times leaving me with constant insecurity of losing my home (i dream about it every other week). When i was 13 i had my first job at a christmas market, after that i was a waitress, then started an office job at 16 where i still work 8 years later. So for 11 years ive been putting money aside to one day buy my own studio apartment to ease the fear and insecurity. And this money made rhis long term goal a little less long term.
