@isopod.factory: Armadillidium Espanyoli “Marbelized” is a petite isopod species originating from Spain. Their splotchy marbled like coloration consists of various light to dark browns with a touch of black on some individuals. They are generally very shy and stay hidden most of the time. When disturbed they either remain frozen in place or quickly scurry for cover. They like slightly warmer temperatures with a pronounced moisture gradient in their enclosure. They can produce offspring year round with a gestation period of about 60 days. The development time is longer than in other Armadillidium species, so patience is needed to build a culture up to substantial numbers.
