Our vet gave us an off label for BOSS. We use it every spring on all the horses, pregnant-youngsters etc. ( We tried Cylence 1X but found some of our horses were sensitive to it.) Boss was best.

Ugh so sorry about this! I dealt with this this year but thankfully it was a very small case and they’re gone. I dewormed with ivermectin, and once again at exactly 21 days later to kill the larva.

Use Tea Tree Oil in the shampoo. it will not hurt horses, it kills lice, and it also keeps them from reattaching from areas that they have infested.

Lice is the worst!!!! Thankfully it’s pretty easy to deal with. And they do not transfer to people or dogs. Lice are more attracted to old, young and horses with a low immune system

Some fly sprays are effective. I used a powder but it wasn’t very effective. Got a liquid instead that had to be diluted in water. My older pony had it last summer.
