Same as the other answers, turn the car in such a way that the spot is blocked 🚫 you're pulling too far forward. Just enough to angle in. then immediately start backing in.

swerve into spot, leave what is sticking n let traffic go around you then correct your parallel parking... my way of fixing that

Pull up close to the parking spot w your rear not going past the spot. Turn towards the left to position yourself for backing up. Back up. Practice in an empty parking lot.

You are pulling forward to far giving them an opening. Even if you do not get in straight the first time at least they you are going in the spot

For example if the the free spot is to your left. You pull hard right to the other cars then back in. That doesn’t leave any room for the car behind to take the spot
