A portable tester! Cool! I remember going to Radio Shack eons ago with my Dad with tubes from the TV. There was a big a** floor tester we used.

Can't you remove the cathode assembly from the tube and rejuvenate it by putting it in the dishwasher for a couple of cleaning cycles??

pop was a TV/RADIO repairman. Still have that exact piece of equipment along w/ many others and tons of vacuum tubes. Nice to see one in action again!👍

I had one of these back in the Eighties. I could go to Goodwill and rummage though the many buckets full of old tubes, pay a few cents for the ones I needed, and ta da! My set would live again.

I remember when they still had places to take your t.v, vcr, stero to get them fixed! I took a Walkman in to get fixed as a teenager!

My dad decided to change out a tube on the back of a tv in the 70s...it was the last time my dad ever trying to change out a tube on a tv ..ZAP had black fingers nails for 2 weeks

I had a similar rejuvenator use for colour CRT many old CRTs have a very long live as the Cathodes are bigger and stronger. not like a new tube fails in 1/2 hour
