🚨 DRUG GANG JAILED AFTER £390,000 COCAINE, CANNABIS, CASH AND ASSETS SEIZED 🚨 A major organised crime network supplying cocaine and cannabis across North Wales has been brought down following an eight-month police investigation. Operation Macondo targeted a gang operating across Gwynedd and Anglesey, with officers uncovering 2kg of cocaine, 3kg of cannabis, almost £120,000 in cash and £120,000 worth of luxury assets linked to criminal profits. The investigation began to close in when police stopped a vehicle travelling from Anglesey to Merseyside and found £20,000 in cash. Days later, another vehicle was stopped in Greater Manchester carrying 3kg of cannabis, before a search of the driver’s home uncovered 2kg of cocaine worth up to £120,000. Coordinated raids across North Wales, Greater Manchester and Merseyside then led to 10 arrests and a further cash seizure. In total, the operation recovered drugs, cash and high-value assets worth nearly £390,000. Eight members of the network were sentenced, receiving a combined total of 28 years. Gareth Trevor Rowlands received the longest sentence of 11 years and three months, while Steven Powell was jailed for 10 years. The conspiracy involved the large-scale supply of Class A and Class B drugs between February and November 2025. Another major drug network dismantled — but how many more are still operating across the UK? 👇 Share your thoughts in the comments and follow Crime Report UK & Worldwide for the latest UK crime stories. #fyp #UKCrime #NorthWales #jail #truecrime
