@complete_preservation: Have you seen this before? Press fit is one of those tools once you’ve used it, you couldn’t be without it. No messing about with solder in roofs and hanging about 1 hour afterwards to make sure there is no chance of a fire 🔥 This is brilliant for me as we often have to find and repair leaks, so we can actually repair these even if the pipes are wet, or even under pressure. I dont like press. fittings are huge and look horrible, and like push fit, takes the skill out of the trade. but sites are going hot works free, will get used more and more.

My problem with press fit is pounds per square inch which neither the machine or fitting tell me. So I’m just relying on the machine which needs to be calibrated every year.
