I only case my phone as it’s in my pocket. No way I’d case a MacBook.

1) they don’t scratch or dent easily, 2) this will make your max overheat, 3) the hinges are calibrated for the correct weight, this will strain the hinges and theyll get loose so much faster

I’ve bought a case for the last two MacBook Pros I’ve owned. Both times the batteries ended up bulging and stretching out the bottom case. For my MBP M1 Max, I skipped it. So far, so good.
