Although when I first started out my business, my buttercream was extremely grainy and too sweet.. It took quite a bit of trial and error but with tweaking the ingredients I managed to get my buttercream at a consistency that and my customers love🤤 2. “What brand colouring do you use?” My go-to brands would have to be Colourmill, chef master and vivid. Tip: Be mindful of the amount of colour you use in your buttercream as sometime it can leave your buttercream tasting unpleasant and sometimes leaving a bitter after taste. The secret to bright coloured buttercream is to cover it up after mixing and refrigerate it. Make your coloured buttercream either 1-2 days before or even the night before.
