At this point 99% of the alt songs on TikTok just use guitar plugged into a basic interface, digital amp sims, and midi drums. Real drums are nicer, but the guitar tones to me are crisper on an ampsim

I use an AT2020 for my vocals, it’s a really good mic for its price point and I just vibe with it. Also have a Scarlett 2i2 for making music on my iPad, because it’s easier than sitting at my desk!
